slide dimensions

Post by chrismertz »

I am trying to build a scientific poster with required dimensions being 66" by 44" and I was hoping to make the slide dimensions larger and proportional to these dimensions. Apparently this can be done but I can't figure out how. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Format > Page > Page > Width/Height. You need a recent version of OOo (2.3.x or 2.4, coming out soon).

You can also use a more "normal" size, as long as it has the same aspect ratio as your final printout, OOo can scale your slide to fit the printer.

If you're not actually making a presentation, you may wish to use Draw instead of Impress.
