[Solved] Image compression

Post by marcosramos »

Hello,

I couldn't find any way of Impress compressing images. Lowering DPI for screen viewing or anything.
Do you know if it is even possible?

Thank you very much,

MR

Not within OOo. You need to use either an external image editor, or a specialized tool, such as Sun Presentation Minimizer [OO.org]. If you're interested in the latter, you may want to read this: Sun Presentation Minimizer serves purpose, but needs work [linux.com].

Thank you!

SPM worked like a charm... From 58MB to 1,82MB in Presentation mode optimization! :)

Far more complete than image compression integrated in PowerPoint.
