This may be a feature request for some later version, but I would love to have a field-linking capability so I could release some of the brain cells involved in formatting while I am writing copy. My writing brain cell group is stressed and complain that they are overworked when a few always have to be busy formatting new slides (Especially important when writing promotional web site copy, rather than presentation show-and-tell. Anybody have a quick fix? I use Ubuntu 7.10, and even if I wanted to, I can't go back to MS Publisher. I like Impress's export to flash or html for quickly building a website piece.

I can't think of any reasonable workaround.
