hi!
i´m new to impress and to this forum.
i have a three "dias" presentation, first one is a black picture, second is an .avi movie file and third, again a black picture.
i would like to do a slow fade transition between first black screen and the movie, and then fade to black again.
problem is i get a white blinking when i press for the fade movie to black dias. is there anyway i can avoid this?!
thanks!
peter

How is your black background achieved? Did you make it the true background under Format > Page?
If so, it may be some kind of graphics driver glitch. At least I don't see any white flash between slides when I try something like this.

Re: Inserting movie to presentation problem
thanks,
yes i made the diases black from format/pages.
but it´s actually just the movie frame that flashes white. (the black background around the movie window remaines black)
any idea?

Are you sure it's not something in the video data itself?
When I've worked with video like this in the past, I've used a video editor to add a "fade to black" at the end of the video, just to make sure glitches like this don't pop up.
