[Solved] Toolbars Visible when I hit F5 - how do I remove
I deleted and reinstalled AOO and Java, but the problem persists.
Any advice would be appreciated.

That looks like the main Impress editing screen. Do you get the same result if you select /Slide Show /Slide Show rather than use the F5 shortcut key?
What are the settings selected in /Slide Show /Slide Show Settings on the Multiple Displays dropdown? Have you a multiple display system, and if so, are the other displays turned on?

Edit: Simple! In /Slide Show /Slide Show Settings, select "Default" rather than "Window" under "Type" |

I only have one screen, so nothing under multiple displays - see screen capture below.
Yes, the same thing happens if I choose Slide Show/Slide Show. Yes it is the same as the main Impress editing screen, just greyed out.

Deselect Window on that screen - select Default instead.
