Trying to show a slideshow in Zoom using shared screen to include the zoom video of self. When I go into slideshow the video box disappears. The video seems to survive other 'full screen' showings in other apps but won't stay with slideshow. It's there in other views eg 'normal view'. Can this be done?

Weird because presenter console is not present in this old and obsolete version. In your signature, you wrote:OpenOffice.org 3.4.1 AOO341m1(Build:9593)
First, update it to 4.1.8 and try again.

Indeed, but perhaps not to the 22nd century version of AOO just yet
And these days it is no longer OpenOffice.org but Apache OpenOffice

Re: Slideshow and zoom.us
Go to Tools > Options > OpenOffice Impress > General
And uncheck "With Presenter Screen".
And uncheck "With Presenter Screen".

Thanks, (for a Mac it's under preferences not tools) but hasn't worked. Also the box keeps rechecking itself on reopening.

Give up zoom.us and try another tool like bluejeans.com

Re: Starting slideshow hides zoom.us video
All the presentees (is that a word) will be on zoom. Given the current ubiquity of zoom presentations I thought AOO might like to look at it. Do you know if it works with other presentation apps? I get the feeling that it's AOO full screen mode not allowing an insert window that may be the problem. I can get round it easy enough by preparing the talk on AOO, exporting as pdf and presenting it in Adobe's full screen presentation mode which allows the presence of zoom's camera window on clicking zoom's 'share screen'.

Re: Starting slideshow hides zoom.us video
Using a multiscreen (3) setup on Xubuntu, I was able to share one of the screens showing a presentation, with another screen available to me showing the presentation manager with my notes, and the third screen showing the Zoom gallery. I did not attempt to impose a miniature screen of myself as speaker on the actual presentation - the slides were more important.
