How to remove hovering buttons in "Slide Pane"

In the "Slide Pane", there are three hovering buttons in each slide, namely "Start Slide Show", "Hide Slide" and "Duplicate Slide".

These three hovering buttons are useful, but quite annoying, since I often clicked them by mistake.

Is there any method to remove these three buttons?
openoffice 4.1.7. Windows 8.1.
