[Solved] pictures/graphics not showing in doc

Just in the last week or so the pictures/graphics in my documents are not showing up. I just get a box that says graphic 1 or what ever number graphic it is on the page. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program. So I know I have the most up to date. Window is up to date. I'm out of things to try, please help, I'm working on the program for our dance recital next month and it needs to get to the printer ASAP. Thanks!

Try /Tools /Options /OpenOffice Writer : View and check the settings under "Display" (in particular "Graphics and Objects")

There are probably similar settings for the other OO applications.

that was so easy, now I feel stupid LOL, thank you so much, now I can get back to work. About 700 dancers and their families thank you also!!
