Labels causing crash with some users

Post by MWard »

New > Labels suddenly repeatedly caused OO to crash on my Macbook, only minutes after using it with no problems. I downloaded the most recent version of OO, 4.1.14. The crash still occurs, but only under one of the two users on the computer. Under the other user (an administrator), no crash.

For the Users where OpenOffice crashes, rename or delete their OpenOffice user profile.

When you renamed or deleted their User Profiles, were they prompted to enter their name and initials on their next use of OpenOffice?

I've been experimenting. The crash occurs when I select a OO database for making the labels. In fact, just opening a database (I created and tried several) causes a crash.

You will be better posting that problem in the Base forum,
LO 6.4.4.2, Windows 10 Home 64 bit

See the Writer Guide, the Writer FAQ, the Writer Tutorials and Writer for students.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.
