Is there any way to remove the paragraph separators?

What do you mean by "paragraph separator"? I'm not familiar with that term. Is it a horizontal solid or dashed line between paragraphs?

If your request concerns the "pilcrow" (P to the left) at the End of each paragraph, you can not remove it (without connecting this paragraph to the next one).

There is the option to show all characters. Switch this off, and the separator will be invisible.

As there is also the option to do a "carriage return" inside a paragraph (usually marked with the symbol on your return/enter key to confuse you a bit) it may be wise to leave the symbol visible. It will not be in print.
