[Solved] Format doesn't show negative numbers in red
When formatting a cell, I alway choose the negative number in RED. The negative numbers are in Black, not RED. Any ideas or a guess?

Red formatting works for me, so I can't guess what is causing your problem.

Re: Cell Formating
What file format are you using?
How you formatted the cells: manually or by cell styles?

Re: Cell Formating
A few possible causes that spring to mind:
- You may have enabled value highlighting (from the View menu or <b>ctrl</b>+<b>F8</kbd>). Numerical values entered should then appear in blue, which you may well have taken for black.
- Your numbers may have been taken as text input. This is particularly common when numbers include a currency symbol and "detect special numbers" is not in effect.
- You may have enabled high contrast mode in the accessibility settings for your computer. Calc will detect this and use black or white instead of your chosen formatting color. You can disable detection of high contrast from the Tools - Options dialog
