[Solved] OpenOffice won't open

Last night the cats were playing tag and mistakenly unplugged my computer (iMac, OS 12.4). When I turned on the computer and tried to launch OpenOffice, I got the usual message about recovering the files.

However, one file apparently has problems and is locked for editing (it's not a file that I created, though it is a native OpenOffice file). If I press cancel, the program doesn't open. If I press "Open Read-Only" or "Open Copy", I get a message saying "The object is not accessible"; pressing okay on that message causes OpenOffice to crash. So basically there's no way to get the program to launch.

I actually don't care about the problem file ("Preventivo Donizetti") but I do need to open the other ones and the problem file is preventing them from being recovered. I've tried editing the permissions in the problem file but that didn't help. I guess what I need to do is delete the temp file from wherever it's hidden. Any thoughts on how to do that or how to tell OpenOffice to ignore it so I can open my other files?

When you get the message to open, press "Cancel"; this will tell OpenOffice not to attempt to open this file.

Thanks, that worked! For some stupid reason, I didn't think to highlight the problem file when I hit cancel.
