Been using open office for many years. specifically calc. Thanks for the forum;
hopefully my ignorance can be helped.
Please forgive me for not knowing the proper terminology here.
In older versions of your software when I would type a formula into a cell
whatever had been typed into that cell would be displayed in that cell and
would also be displayed on a line at the top of the page.
I could edit the cell contents in either the cell or that line above.
A few months ago I updated to version 4.1.11 and that line ,above ,that displayed
the contents of a particular cell disappeared.
ALSO
The sum of whatever formula is displayed in that cell is displayed BUT the actual formula is no longer
visible.
I have to re-insert the entire formula any time a change is made ie adding a few lines or whatever.
Please help this is irritating.
