[Dropped] Calculate results for many values

Post by anthony2L »

I have been provided with a fairly complex calculator (golf handicaps if you must know), which for a set of input data calculates an output value after doing various lookups and many "if" statements and appropriate rounding at various stages.

The calculator is really intended for the single value input with the resulting single figure output.

However it would be quite useful to have an range of say from 0.0 to 36.0 in 0.1 increments specified in the single input cell(S) and then have the corresponding outputs (might be two or three) reported against each of the values.

A screenshot of the calculator is shown. The input range is for the Handicap Index field(s) which result in differing values in the Playing Handicap. It is how the Playing Handicaps vary with Handicap Index that I'm interested in.

Edit: Changed subject, was Input range into "entry cell", output resulting values into "output cell"

The screenshot is not shown.
Actual calculator file would be better.

However, what you describe seems to be a typical target for Multiple Operations.

Image shown as attachment. Actual spreadsheet is locked and protected (that's another problem for another day)
