[Dropped] Unikey/Vietnamese issue

Hello all,

just helping my partner out with her tenancy document but it seems to be having issues with Vietnamese.

Once I have her permission, I'll most a snip of the issue.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

The issue is not that clear. Is it a problem with the font? Or with the file? In later case, you should upload an extract of the file and explain what it should look like.
LibreOffice 7.6.2.1 on Xubuntu 23.10 and 7.6.4.1 portable on Windows 10

What's the source of the Vietnamese text - how does it get in the document? I have a similar Windows/OO to you and if I copy and paste some Vietnamese text from this page there are no ? characters appearing:

Edit: Unikey looks to be a Vietnamese keyboard software. Does it work with anything else - so you can then copy and paste into Writer?

It could be a range of things - character encoding, keyboard settings, or even the software you're using. Once you're able to share a snippet of the problem, I'll do my best to help you out.
