[Solved] Text color conditional format or STYLE()

Post by wojmo »

Hello,
My problem is simple yet I can't use this style function as it requires an empty cell.
I'd like to red color begining balance number if it doesn't match the ending balance from one line below (see attachent).
So if B2<>C3 then make B2 font red. Then I need to copy that to all B column cells.
If I use conditional formating and copy down below then all values change to B2 value.
What's the solution?

In the attached file, I set up a conditional format in column B. I originally set it up in B2 and the used Copy and Paste Special to paste just the format to the rest of column B. Does this meet your need?
