You cannot save in GDI, you can Paste special in that format.

My (often used) workaround would be:

1. PrtScrn to take a copy of the screen
2. Paste into an image editor like IrfanView.
3. Crop / rotate / resample as required.
4. Copy
5. Paste into Writer (Note copy / paste is OK as it is a graphic.)

Thank you, but I need to rotate the data, not the chart itself. As it is, the line graphs don't come out right.

I've split your posts from the initial topic [Solved] How to rotate a chart? since it is not the same request at all.
Can you describe exactly what you're trying to do? With a screenshot for example.

I don't know how to post a picture.
Click on red "Post reply" button (but not the Quick reply) on the forum area. Then an Edit box will be appeared, where you can type-in and edit your post. Under that Edit box there are the TAB-s: Options and Attachment.

Click on the "Attachment" TAB. Use the "Add files" button. Browse your attachment file on your computer.

Note: The maximum file size is 128 KiB in this forum, therefore maybe you need optimize your attachments: use lossless compression .png file type for the screenshot images, and use max. 64 color for the color depth. Crop the unimportant parts from the omage. Then the file size of the image will be reduced.

Do you mean you have a chart with vertical axis Dogs and horizontal axis Cats. You want it to have vertical axis Cats and horizontal axis Dogs?

(It's actually horses lol. good guess) I've prepared a sample graph with only a few horses on it to make it easier to see what I am doing. I've got the x axis and y axis weird, but I want 2 lines for each horse. hi01, hi02 etc are the horse's ages, (dpo1 and hi01 is the horse at age 1, dpo2 and hi02 is the horse at age 2, etc.) On the spreadsheet, it turns into the color code for which line is which horse, which is good. Horizontally is supposed to be the horse's ages across the bottom of the chart. Vertically I want the numbers for certain data on the horse. But I want 2 separate lines produced, one to represent PTS and one to represent DPO. So pts and dpo should be over/under each other, likewise for each year. (They should parallel each other to a certain extent.) Instead, it combines the data into one line, PTS then DPO then PTS then DPO etc.

I'm not sure I explained this well. If I didn't, I'll get some graph paper and do one by hand.

I really truly appreciate all the help everyone is offering.
You can muck about with the numbers if you like. It's just a sample done from a small section of the master spreadsheet.

No, I didn't. I've only started using the spreadsheet program a couple days ago, so I don't know what all the options mean.
It's perfect! Thank you so much
Wow, I can't believe how much I have forgotten about spreadsheets.
