[Solved] Unreadable menus
[Solved] Unreadable menus
Since the latest updates the top toolbar with File, Edit,View, Insert etc. has become unreadable. the drop down menus are a dark gray and the print is black rendering it unreadable. the only way i have found to correct this is restart in safe mode and reset to factory settings. that how ever does not last. the last time it lasted about an hour! Is there an easier fix for this?

Re: Unreadable toolbar
Are you using a dark theme? Try to swith to a non-dark theme in your operating system.
Or check/modify the settings of the graphic output in the LO.
And you can try and another icon set.

Re: Unreadable toolbar
I think I read on ask.libreoffice someone had a recent similar problem but now I can't find that post there. If I remember correctly the fix was to go (menu) Tools → Options → LibreOffice → View → Graphics Output and in that section untick Use Skia for all rendering (you need to restart LibreOffice to get the new setting activated).
You could also experiment with the Use Hardware Acceleration setting in that Graphics Output section of Options.
