Hello
I have been using Apache OpenOffice for years but have recently had to get a new laptop and the fonts on the page tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheets are too small. Can I change these without changing the fonts of the rest of the spreadsheet?
A little research this morning has brought to light that it might have something to do with the the Windows 10 tab fonts but all I am able to change is the overall system font.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Bruce

Re: Tab Fonts
It is depends on the resolution of your disploay, and the magnification value of the operating system.I have been using Apache OpenOffice for years but have recently had to get a new laptop
What way the resolution value of the old laptop, and what the resolution value of the old laptop?
Try to change the Magnification value (but not the Zoom).

Re: Tab Fonts
Hi Zizi64,
thank you for such a fast reply and my old screen resolution was 1366 by 768 and my new screen resolution is 1920 by 1080, so it is an improvement in resolution.
I have adjusted both the magnification and the zoom, but it adjust everything else except for the tabs.

Re: Tab Fonts
That is the reason. The individual pixels must be much smaller on the new laptop. It's the same screen size as the old 15".

Re: Tab Fonts
Where you adjusted them? I meant in the Windows display settings. That will enlarge everything.I have adjusted both the magnification and the zoom, but it adjust everything else except for the tabs.

Hi Tibor,
Ah, I understand what you mean now and I have adjusted that setting to 150%. The problem is that everything is super size! My apps, my desktop.....
But it has fixed the small font on the tabs which I can now read. So it is a question of whether or not I can live with the laptop with all the other fonts so large. I may perhaps also find a way to customise the zoom steps to for example 135%.
Thank you for showing an ingenious fix to my problem.
