[Solved] How can I erase pen markings from a slide?

I have "Mouse pointer as pen" checked in settings. I am using Libre Office(7.2.6.2(x64). How can I erase the pen markings from the slide?

I can write and erase the markings during a presentation, but when I stop the presentation the markings ares still on the slide. They are not removed by save/close/open. They are also still there when I open the file in Open Office.

Probably the Save writes them to disk. Try merely Close/reopen.

Never mind. I found that if I right click and select "Mouse pointer as pen" while the slide show is running, the marks I make will disappear when I "end show". This doesn't remove the previous marks but it fixes the problem for the future.
