[Dropped] Custom and slide transitions not available

I have made 3 impression presentations and only on one have I been able to use custom and slide transition . The windows/dropdowns don't appear. Why?

I'm having the same issue. In the Help it indicates to go to View - Task Pane to set up slide transitions in order to use automatic running of slideshow without having to click. I've looked everywhere and cannot find Task Pane.
OpenOffice Version 4.1.13
Windows 10 64-bit Version 22H2
