I have recently had this problem and found a solution I used WinRAR > Repair Archive > Treat the corrupt archive as ZIP.
The rebuilt file works fine.
Since this post was the first thing I found on google when researching the problem I hope this solution helps anyone looking.

Re: Could not create java implementation loader
Ok so the way I solved it was by installing an older version of Java (not ideal obviously). I had an older java jre-8u121-windows-i586 and that worked. From what I can tell OpenOffice expects the file msvcr100.dll in the java instalation folder and the latest java does not have it (having msvcr140.d...

Re: Could not create java implementation loader
I can't even add the java x86 (or x64) it just says "The folder you selected does not countain a java runtime environment. Please select a diffent folder" but normaly you would not even have to point to any folder it would just show up in the list. I am just trying to make LanguageTool-5.0...

Re: Adding white spaces in imported data.
Yes I have oracle report builder
I just want the double spaces that I have in my spreadsheet present in my report fields.
I don't know why it only shows a maximum of one space.
"Andrew,[space][space]Nr.24" becomes "Andrew,[space]Nr.24" no mater what I do.

Adding white spaces in imported data.
I import some addresses from a open office calc spreadsheet. And sometimes I want to add a space or two so they get a nicer alignment in the final rapport. But adding mare spaces in the spreadsheet doesn't produce more spaces in the rapport. I tried Insert>Formatting Mark>Non break space , no luck.

Re: [Solved] Delete the paragraph not ending in punctuation
Thank you both that worked. I did not know about Alternative Find and Replace (AltSearch) extension.
Find and replace is a bit confusing to me as some regex work while others don't. I'll look up Sigil.

[Solved] Delete the paragraph not ending in punctuation
I have a scanned book and sometimes I get these paragraphs where they shouldn't be. How can I do a Find and replace to delete a paragraph marker from paragraphs that don't end in a punctuation mark? Right now I can find them using \w$ and then manually delete them, but this problem happens at every ...

Re: Find & Replace: Upper Case words to Lower Case (+ a symb
OK to sum up changing uppercase words like "NYPD" "OK" (at least 2 letters) to lower case works with this: Search for: (\w)([A-Z]+) Replace with $0 MatchCase-[ticked] Format>Font Efects>Lowercase And you can add a charater in the Replace before or after $0, like *$0* (this will m...

Re: Find & Replace: Upper Case words to Lower Case (+ a symb
Ok so far I got this:
Search for
(\w)([A-Z]+)
Replace with
*$1$2
So I get
NYPD > *NYPD
And I would need:
NYPD > *nypd
The problem is I have no clue how to do the lowercase in the replace.
The one suggested before ([:upper:]*\b) would also select one letter words (not wanted) .

[Solved] Find & Replace: Upper Case words to Lower Case (+)
I've been looking for a way to change any words found in uppercase into lowercase + a symbol. For example NYPD to *nypd (this is a special rule used in braille where words like THIS are written like *this in most languages). I used * as an example of a special character. Right now I just search with...

[Solved] Replacing a letter inside a word
Some time ago there was a grammatical change in the way some words are written in romanian. Here is one of these rules: - when inside a word î turns into â like: cît > cât. But only when inside a word, this does not apply when it's at the beginning or at the end of the word like this: încît > încât....

Re: Split screen editing, for braille editing
The odt2Braille extension is at the same version is was in 2012 when I first looked at it. It does have a braille preview before printing but is really hard to use for more than a few pages. I guess it's the best option for OpenOffice at the moment. Thanks for the input, didn't know about Braillebla...

Re: conditional shape coloring in report
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I am using the sun report builder in OpenOffice base, and can't really see how to make your example happen there. Maybe it would work in the old wizard report builder. But I really need a solution in the sun report builder if there is any.

Re: two column report
To F3K Total : I can't use the MailMerge as I don't think it has the complexity needed, the report I have uses pictures (from a folder linked to the base), shapes, page formating etc I guess it does look like a catalog. There should be a tutorial: How to make multi-column report where the items flow...

Re: two column report
Thanks for the quick reply but that solution doesn't work that well for me. It simply cuts the last record if ID is a odd number (like 7,9 etc) . I also was hopping to be able to order the names myself by a grade_number something like this: grade name grade name 1.12 Jake 2.3 Mike 6.1 Terry 7.1 Ted ...
