Re: Split large book file into 2 odt files
Not sure printing in mere 2 blocks will do. Because if I understand correctly, it has to be 2 hard cover books, meaning a cover page for both, to have 2 "different" books. A part 1 and a part 2. I think that the question is rather: should the pages in part 2 follow the numbering of the par...

Re: Split large book file into 2 odt files
If there is a page break between the 2 halves, then deleting the first half should not impact the second one. Except for page numbering but it can be fixed with the page style setting.
Try and tell us what remains to be fixed. Do that on a copy of your book of course.

By showing that you don't even remember your own questions and taking no care of where you post, you just make a fool of yourself.
The best way to prevent both of us from wasting more time (despite my providing an answer that was satisfying a couple of years ago) is to ban you.
Bye.

Re: Exporting options - can it be changed?
So it all depends on the size of the cropped image. If too much cropped, of course the result will end up showing pixellisation.
For your second question, that's what I told: 0 is low compression, thus biggest file size than with the highest compression (9).

Re: Exporting options - can it be changed?
You are talking about the PNG export, it is not a good format for a picture, especially if it comes from a jpg. All depends on your source picture. If the resolution is 300dpi for example, exporting as 600dpi won't improve the quality. For PNG, I guess that the encoding is more complex with 9 becaus...
