It seems that your file has been truncated (cut short - the last part of the file is missing). See how the size of content.xml is not given - I think this is a sign of a truncated file. . trunc.png . This probably means that the PC crashed before the file had been completely written. content.xml con...

Re: I have LOST my LibreOffice files (and pics too)
There is almost zero possibility that you have lost more than one file due to user error so they should still be on the disk. One file may be lost by mistake but more than one file will not be lost by mistake unless, as Hagar says, you deleted the folder containing all the files by mistake. Have you...

As said above, use Windows to search for all your files. Click the magnifying glass icon on the Taskbar and look for *.od* to find all LO documents; or *.odt, *.doc, *.docx to find all text documents; *.ods, *.xls, *.xlsx to find all spreadsheets etc.

Re: Page mirrored is not saving
When I inserted content to get four pages, AOO lost content and a complete page if I changed the page style of a page but the content and page returned when I reset the page style. Hence my recommendation for the OP to use the inserted file (your file.odt) or start from scratch.

See this post . My point is the OP's original .odt file is corrupted as AOO could not set mirrored pages nor add a page number nor add any other field. But inserting it into another file removed these corruptions and the new file worked as expected. As the OP uses AOO, I suggest that LO experience i...

I find your text is very difficult to read because it is all crunched up together because you have set the text Scale width to 90%. You should never do this. I'll take a look at your attachment for margin guides, but I want the outside to be wider then the inside. I did that file as an example for you to test and save. I think there is something corrupted with - ParagraphStyleDoublePage.odt because it does not show page numbers when I insert them. Does margins.odt work for you? Note that with mirrored, the 1st, 3rd, 5th etc pages are RIGHT and the 2nd, 4th and 6th etc pages are LEFT as shown in the book layout below.

It is very difficult to see how you could be losing lines. The only scenario I can suggest is that you are not saving the file before emailing it . If you don't save the file first, all edits will no t be saved to the file on disk. Emailing presumably sends the file on the disk so those edits will n...

Re: My title is being numbered automatically. Why?
If I use the Format brush to copy a good Heading 1 without a number and apply it to some text, I get a Heading 1 without a number. As expected.
But, if I highlight some text and apply a Heading 1, I get a preceding bullet and tab. I cannot then backspace to delete the tab and bullet.
