Re: Importing CSV into existing calc sheet
Instead of providing any practicable solution you deliver spam for a questionable developers tool. This is the Calc forum. We have to assume that Kay67 is not interested in writing any program. Hopefully someday we can see you thinking a bit, before writing such things. IMMHO the best thing you can...

Re: Find Last non empty cell in a column
An array formula can do the job:
=MAX((NOT(ISBLANK($A$1:$A$100))*ROW($A$1:$A$100)))
use Ctrl+Shift+Intro to enter the formula.

The best to avoid calculation errors, which is very easy in a payroll. It's to have every concept unit, prices and amounts/deductions in one cell and use separated cells for subtotal and total.

Both in OpenOffice and LIbreOffice it is posible to customize the toolbar to select the border style and the color border.
Also Ctrl+1 shows in one step the format cell box, with the last tab used selected.

Re: conditional formatting for text
In conditional formatting, change "Field value is" to "Formula is", and use a formula like:
FIND("leave";A1;1) or
SEARCH("leave";A1;1)
the difference is SEARCH() support regular expressions, which lets make complex search expressions.

Re: OO Win7 64 not printing
I don't know but maybe it is a problem involved with Java.
OOo can't work with a Java 64 is needed a Java 32.
Be sure that in Menu/Tools/Options/OpenOffice/Java, there is select a Java 32 version, it's possible to have various versions of Java at same time in the computer.

Re: identifing printed pages from a spreadsheet
In Menu/Format/Page/Header|Footer - Edit, you can fin how to insert the filename, page number, date, time, etc.
To insert without loose the reference, hide the first row|column in the print range, and insert rows and/or column is always after.

Inform the ppmc, waiting a while for their comments, if there is no problem, fix an apply the rule.

I think is a problem in LibO 3.4 and above, also with access databases, seems that SDBC drivers weren't shipping in this versions of LibreOffice.

Can't you set to VLOOKUP(P126;History.F5:F195;5;0) and hide the row 5, this avoid unwanted changes in the begin of the array.

Re: Formula box too small, big formulas hard to read
You can use a Named Ranges with formulae, this lets reduce the formula size.
Menu/Insert/Name/Define Then substitute (INDIRECT("'"&$A71&"'.$A$1:$G$63")) with DataRange in the formula.
