Installation error 1335 windows xp

I have tried to download and install open office 3 times and get the same error.
Error 1335 the cabinet file openofficeorg2.cab required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.
After that the installation is ended. I have downloaded and tried to install 3 times and have received the same error.
Any help would be appreciated.

Check the md5sum of the installer downloaded, it may be corrupted. See here : http://download.openoffice.org/2.3.1/md5sums.html, there is a link to the instructions on top of that page.
