[Solved] Starting OpenOffice in Full Display Window Size

Post by lindawing »

Before the latest update, I had my program set to open in a full-sized window, rather than having to change the window size every time I opened the program and/or a new document.

Now it's back to being the small opening window and when a new document opens, it's the same size as the opening window. I cannot, for the life of me, remember how to make the program open in the larger size to begin with, and I am not coming up with the right search in the help documents to make that happen, either.

Can someone please help me with this (I'm sure) very simple thing about which my brain has gone dead? :knock:

When OpenOffice opens at the Splash screen, maximise it and close it. It should now remember the window size.

I tried that...thought that was what I had done before. It didn't work! I'll try it again...just a sec...

OK...well, go figure...it worked this time. Isn't that always the way of it?

Thanks! I wouldn't have tried it again, without your post. :D
