Hi,
the user's registrations data collected in phpbb database include ip address of the clients. After recent proxy changes all new registrations get the same address from apache.org domain. This makes impossible to ban some ip addresses, e.g. spambot factories, directly in the forum database. Consequently, we are not able to distinguish---in heuristic sense---between people who want to participate, and spambots. Is there a service at the proxy level which would be able to control it instead? if not, are you going to keep the current solution until next attack, or rather to reinvent it?

Re: User's registration address
See last answers on this thread: only Imacat can change that configuration.
There are two types of people: those who believe that there are two types of people and those who do not.

Thanks, RGB,
I have missed the matter of IP in that discussion. Fortunately, the problem has been fixed quickly. Anyway, I guess that we should be able to control login IP's.

Re: User's registration address
This seems to be fixed.
Kudos to people who have make it possible.
Just a curious issue: Some users are connected with a private IP
