[Solved] Remove shading in footers

Post by Darren N »

I added page numbers to the bottom. I cant figure out how to get rid of the gray shade on them. They are not selected or have a background added.

Is there an easy way?

They are page number fields, so View | Field Shadings or Ctrl+F8.

That grey shading, which is turned on/off by the setting robleyd points to, is non printing. It is useful in editing, as it reminds the user that the characters shaded are produced by a field.
