Ay up . I'm trying to install a Spanish dictionary as an add on/extension . I download it apparently successfully . When I click on it to install I get an error message . This has happened with two different dictionaries . The message is [ wiht the first , changes to ES.oxt in the second ]
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4\user\uno_packages\cache\uno_packages\sv2jcwm.tmp \es es.oxt does not exist.
A delete and resintall has not solved the problem .
Would appreciate any help , my Spanish homework is taking a battering ! Note a possibly postmature student here.
Ian

Re: Failure to install dictionary extension
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Try to reset your OpenOffice user profile and try to install the dictionary again.
If no change, try LibreOffice, under much more active development, see: [Tutorial] Considering a Switch from OpenOffice to LibreOffice? Some Useful Information.
Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the 🖉 button if your issue has been fixed.
