Printing and Cutting and Pasting

I have a mailing list in Base and wanted to cut and past the table from the report creation window to a document in Writer. I could only paste one cell at a time even though the entire table was selected. I then gave up on that and tried to print the table but there is no print function. So I do I get the data from Base to Writer or the Spreadsheet/ I am using Open Office 2.3 in Kubuntu 7.10 Linux.

Try the instructions in this article of the NeoOffice wiki.

Since NeoOffice is based on OpenOffice.org, the instructions should work fine for OpenOffice.org, if you keep the following things in mind:
1) references to the command key in a Neo tutorial are the equivalent to the control key in OOo. (i.e. Command-C becomes Control-C) Note that I'm not sure if this is true with OOo for X11.
2) control-clicking is the same as right clicking
3) icons sometimes look different, as NeoOffice 2.2.2 has a custom icon set.

Note that there have been some reports that this no longer works for some individuals.
