Since updating to v 3.3 started getting the following error 'Err:509' in cells with Formulas. I un-installed 3.3 and re-installed v 3.2 hoping for the best. No good. For example, Formulas are still configured as: ='Average'(C16:C35) instead of =AVERAGE(C16:C35) and it gives the 'Err:509'.
The problem could be the Logical functions are not installed because if I attempt to re-build the Formula the Logical functions are missing and functions such as AVERAGE will not work. Another quirk is the Help topics are not installed. I understand if this Topic should be moved to Troubleshooting.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply and being on here in the wee hours of the morning.
The fix did not work. Created a new Profile but the issues as stated above are still present.

Re: Error Code 'Err:509'
I un-installed Open Office, scoured the Registry and deleted everything there - a lot of stuff in the Registry, then renamed and sent to the Recycle Bin the OpenOffice folders under Documents and Settings hoping for the best. Then re-installed 3.2 again, re-built another Profile. No good. The Logical functions are still absent and no Help is installed.

Re: Error Code 'Err:509'
Did you check the checksum of your download? You evidently have an incomplete installation.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.12 on Linux
Re: Error Code 'Err:509'
Yes, that's exactly what was wrong, an incomplete download. Went back to the same mirror - http://archive.services.openoffice.org/ ... able/3.2.1 and found this file: OOo_3.2.1_Win_x86_install-wJRE_en-US.exe - Installed it and everything appears to be functional. Thanks for the help from all the great volunteers.
