[Issue] Formula resized with Caption

Post by Aquilax »

My problem is that I have formula with the caption and while the caption is very long the formula is very short, and for this reason the caption is broken in 5 lines, if I resize the frame to get the caption in one row the formula stretch itself too and I get a resized formula with a bigger font size.
How can I have the caption in one row without that the formula get resized?

This is an old problem. See (and vote for it!) this issue:

Captions in Writer are quite problematic. You can cut the formula before resize the frame and then paste it again, or you can use alternatives for the caption system:

There are two types of people: those who believe that there are two types of people and those who do not.

Thanks RGB for the reply

This is no use, I have already tried it, when I paste the formula back inside the frame, it stretch itself in the same ways as I would have never removed it.
I will take a look to the alternatives.
