[Solved] Spellcheck/Dictionary Problem

Post by Lian420 »

I'm running OO 3.4 at the moment and right now the spellcheck is saying that every word is spelled incorrectly. I did a search on the issue and found this page. http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/ ... 74&t=16512 So following this page's instructions I pulled up the extension manager to find that according to it I don't have any dictionary installed at all. So I downloaded En_US off the extension website to try and install it and when I tried to add it through the Extension manager it says "An error occurred during file opening." I double click on the file I downloaded and I get a message that says "C:\Documents and Settings\user\application Data\openoffice.org\3\user\uno_packages\cache\uno_packages\sv1jlqj.tmp_\en_US.oxt does not exist."

So at this point I'm kind of lost about what to do next or what I did wrong exactly.
