Help test a tiny bug in AOO?

Post by acknak »

Anyone like to help confirm a small problem I noticed in AOO?

See Issue 121710: incorrect selection with page down key

Try the steps there and see if you notice the problem. Right now, I've found it under Linux but another tester doesn't see it on Windows. I'd be surprised if something like this was system dependent.

TIA

Same selection result for me on Ubuntu 12.04, as reported in the issue. Pressing the Esc key drops the selection back to the current slide.
Edit: At a guess, in the circumstances of the bug report, Page Up is reading as Shift UpArrow.

If you move the mouse from the slide panel, what happens? See my comments in the bug report.

Seems to work fine on XP.

Odd. No problem with LibO 3.5.

Thanks for trying it.

I don't see that on Ubuntu 12.10 and AOO 3.4.1...
Same behavior than under XP, no problem.
