[Issue] Save as ".jpg" format

Post by Kris9701 »

I would like to save my presentation as a .jpg file which is a feature available in Microsoft Powerpoint. Is there any option comparable to this in Open Office Impress?

You could export to .pdf, split the pages (PDFsam) and then convert to .jpg (ImageMagick).

If you want to export every slide as an image, try File > Export > File format: HTML Document. This is meant to export a web-ready version of the presentation, but it also creates an image of each slide as part of the process.

Each slide will make three files, so be sure to create a new folder and export there (using the "Export" file selection dialog window) or else you'll end up with a whole bunch of files mixed in with your documents. Among the exported files is an image file for each slide. You can take the images and do whatever you want with them.

The feature has been requested: Issue 5580: Save all slides of a presentation into numbered graphics files in one step
